Following the first workshop of the year, there is a call for proposals for faculty (or whose lab members or collaborators) attended the workshop. Proposals should be scoped as 1-year seed projects addressing a topic of relevance to Agilent, which was likely discussed during the last workshop Proposals are reviewed by a selection committee that is chaired by Dr. Chong Wing Yung from Agilent.
Each year, ABP will provide several gift awards (~$65,000 direct) to support the seed projects. Gift awards are given as direct cost to faculty and do not require formal deliverables or IP agreements. Seed projects that have continued alignment and demonstrate exceptional potential for further development may be invited to submit extended multi-year proposals for further review and collaborative opportunities within Agilent.
